Ellissa Nolan, MCA, JP

Ellissa Nolan is a communications professional and digital project manager working both in hybrid, on-site and WFH models. Navigating a complex diversity of stakeholders across commercial, NFP, small business and universities, Ellissa successfully designs and delivers digital, marketing, arts and communication projects on time and on budget.

Having run her own small business for eight years Ellissa understands the challenges of being a small business owner, including generating revenue, managing cashflow, marketing, strategic design, client management and adapting the business model through challenging times. 
Prior to running her own business, she had direct experience as Executive Digital Manager for a network of credit unions in the North Coast ($500 mil asset base). Ellissa's portfolio included the design and management of a $7 mil digital transformation project, marketing, communications and delivering mobile APP banking services to 40,000 members. She led a small of team of digital banking IT and creative professionals through muliple successful digital banking service deliveries.

Marketing and Communication is Ellissa's profession and she has designed and delivered a range of brand management and strategic campaigns for GoFundraise (fundraising for 1,000 Australian charities), Rotary International (Australian Magazine), Queensland University of Technology and the University of Tasmania's Academy of the Arts.

Whilst learning her crafts in diplomacy, commercialism and communication, Ellissa was employed as the Executive Assistant to the Director of ABC Radio, Managing Director of Sony PlayStation and CEO/Creative Director of Lowe Hunt Advertising Agency.

Currently she is working at the University of Sydney in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
