Our vision is to create a website that represents Rotary across Australia and allows the public a gateway to interact with Rotary, to know what we are about, and to be able to easily find a local Club.
In Australia, we also now have one Facebook page that is shared with RDU and collaboratively managed by Ellissa Nolan and Philip Archer: http://www.facebook.com/rotarydownunder
We have also created a “Members only” section on the Rotary Australia website, so that at a Zone level, Rotary Coordinators, Foundation Coordinators and Public Image Coordinators can work together on promoting our areas of focus and tips to assist our Members and Clubs.
Our objective is to work with all clubs and districts to share Rotary’s ‘Conversations to Actions’ campaign material with local and national communities. Here’s three key things you can do to kick-start the campaign in your community:
1. Print promotional material as it is released over the coming months and display as posters on community notice boards and hand out as flyers at local community events.
2. Upload campaign material to your Club and District website and share through social media channels.
3. Join the Rotary Down Under Facebook page. Post your club projects, key events, fundraising milestones and community success stories. We will use this content to start to profile relevant projects on the Rotary Australia website.
There is nothing else like Rotary. It’s where conversations turn to action!
